Chez Abir is an exceptional Lebanese restaurant, highly rated by regulars and new visitors alike, just around the corner from Olympia on Blythe Road.
Behind its unassuming exterior, Chez Abir offers a classic Lebanese menu and an strong selection of wines. There's traditional mezze such as moutabal (aubergine), hommos, vine leaves and spicy potatoes with garlic, coriander, sweet pepper and chili, as well as hearty mains.
We highly recommend the Foul B'zeit - broad beans, coriander and garlic - and the Sujok - home-made Lebanese spicy sausages with tomato. In short everything we've had there is utterly delicious. They garner very impressive online reviews too.
Chez Abir provides the ideal option for lunch with friends or hosting clients close to the venues (it's literally on our doorstep) and they can also provide set menus for large group bookings.
Olympia is full of undiscovered gems, but Chez Abir really does stand apart as a superb dining option in understated surroundings. Highly recommended.
