Decorative arts and design
Explore the world’s largest museum of decorative arts and design, housing a permanent collection of over 2.8 million objects, books and archives that span over 5,000 years of human creativity.

Seven miles of galleries are spread out over six different floors, with something for everyone. Periods and styles of decorative art and design range from Gothic to Surrealism, to Medieval to Modernism. There are free tours and talks, interactive audio-visuals, video presentations, and games for children.

The museum also has a Garden Café, as well as the V&A Café, and also provides a designated space for those who wish to bring a packed lunch.
