'Off The Shelf'
From 14th September 2024, Olympia will play host to “Off The Shelf”, a pavilion designed by artist and craftsperson Rio Kobayashi in collaboration with Webb Yates, inspired by Olympia’s heritage architecture and the traditional wooden homes of Japan, where Kobayashi grew up.
Animating the pavilion will be “On The Shelf”, a programme of exhibitions, workshops and activities developed and hosted by Rio Kobayashi & Friends, that will offer visitors the opportunity to join sessions where they will explore the world of design in all its variety.
Bookings are now open for our Winter Residency workshop series with renowned artists Liang-Jung Chen and Lauren MacDonald.
