EC&O Venues launches new App as digital performance peaks

EC&O Venues has launched a free iPhone app that offers visitors, exhibitors and organisers a definitive guide to visiting the venues. This comes at a time when the performance of its digital channels is reaching new heights.

Users of the app can create their own event calendar, find local restaurants, bars and accommodation, and view floor plans. Unique features set it apart from other venue apps; these include a password-protected organiser section, comprehensive social media integration and panoramic images of the venues.

The past 12 months has seen eco.co.uk maintain its position as the UK’s leading exhibition venue website*, with a monthly average of 80,758 unique visitors, peaking at 142,741 in November last year. A dedicated microsite was built for the celebration of 125 years of events at Olympia, and the launch of the West Hall - www.olympia.co.uk. Email campaigns have also exceeded targets, gaining open rates of over 24% and click rates of more than 19%, and the social media presence on Facebook, Twitter and YouTube continues to grow in levels of engagement and activity.
