The Mind Body Soul Experience comes to Olympia London

24 Sep 2014

Olympia London may be minutes away from the boutique shopping hotspots of Knightsbridge and Kensington, but for one weekend in October, audiences will find enrichment for minds and bodies is closer to hand. The Mind Body Soul Experience, taking place from Friday 24 to Monday 26 October comes to Olympia’s most minimal and modern of spaces, Olympia Central, to offer an oasis of calm amid the hubbub of consumer life. The three-day event will encompass workshops, healing and complementary health to provide visitors with nourishment for mind, body and soul.

The Mind Body and Soul Experience will have workshop rooms, a stage experience and a ‘Tree of Life’ Meditation area in addition to the show room floor. Each ticket gives visitors free access to the Yoga Show also at Olympia London. So, after visitors have detoxed and refreshed their thinking, they can perfect their downward dog or salute the sun, all within the same venue.

Popular workshops will be hosted alongside alternative experiences. So, as well as meditation, aromatherapy and traditional therapies including Reiki and massage, there will be some quirkier offerings. Hairdresser and spiritual martial artist, Gary Winer will be giving ‘spiritual haircuts’, offering reiki head and shoulder massages as well as Tarot readings – all from a man with thirty years of experience as a professional hairdresser. Elizabeth Whiter will take to the stage with her dog Morris to demonstrate animal meditation to music – a full time healer, Elizabeth, helps pets overcome pain with her unique brand of therapy. Further highlights include tutorials and demonstrations in brainwave healing, aura imaging and light therapy.

Hannah Irons at the Mind Body Soul Experience, said: “We’re really excited about the programme, which is fun, varied and packed with inspiration. We’ve made sure that there’s something for people new to spiritual ideas and self-improvement as well as giving our regular visitors treatments to discover including new twists on ancient wisdoms. It’s going to be a fantastic weekend of health and happiness!”

Anna Golden, Commercial Director at Olympia London said: “We’re looking forward to see the transformation of Olympia Central into a spiritual space and treatment hub. Visitors will also be able to go straight to Olympia National, for a free experience of the ever popular OM Yoga show.”
