Olympia Conference Centre scores hat trick in ratings and awards
Olympia Conference Centre’s event management team has gained an outstanding 93% rating in customer services to event organisers. The score is the average rating for customer service performance at the Conference Centre for Q1 and Q2 of 2014 and is the latest in a series of positive results for the venue. Not only did the Olympia Conference Centre win Best Conference Venue – Customer Service at the Conference Awards in June, but it has also been named Finalist in the category for Best UK Conference Centre for the Conference & Incentive Travel Excellence Awards.

Winning awards are an important, visible demonstration of all the behind-the-scenes hard work from our brilliant teams and people, while our consistently high scores in post event research from organisers is further proof of the care we give each client.”

Results for Best UK Conference Centre at the C&IT Excellence Awards will be revealed at a ceremony on Friday 19 September. The awards are some of the most competitive in the events industry, designed to acknowledge best practice in the creation, planning, production and management of events within B2B sectors.
The positive results are mirrored by growth in bookings for the venue with a projected increase of 26% in events currently planned at the Olympia Conference Centre for 2015. Effective customer service is a key contributor to the business’ continued growth, with repeat business accounting for a significant proportion of events contracted.

Customer service feedback from event organisers on Olympia Conference Centre was audited by independent industry consultancy, Hownow consulting. The company analysed feedback from organisers given as a percentage rating for customer service experienced at events over the first year half of 2014.
