Salon du Chocolat is proud to present a new line up of features for the 2015 London edition of The Chocolate Show, which will take place at Olympia London, 16-18th October, this time in a new space at Olympia National. With exhibitors such as Rococo, Paul a Young, Hotel Chocolat, Divine, Marou, Willie’s Cacao and many more it’s the UK’s flagship chocolate event. 

The event will be the first show to make chocolate from the bean, live. Visitors can get involved in the process and make their own bars of chocolate. HB Ingredients, Bean to Bar UK and Paul Wayne–Gregory will be demonstrating the techniques behind the chocolate making process and how you can achieve this at home. As part of The Chocolate Show’s dedication to raising awareness of fine chocolate, a Bean To Bar area has been introduced, showcasing artisan makers exhibiting and selling chocolate made straight from the bean. Alongside this, bean to bar champions Cocoa Runners are bringing artisans with them from across the globe, giving you access to many brands previously unavailable in the UK.

Little hands will also be getting messy - straight from the London stage, Charlie and The Chocolate Factory the musical will be hosting a children’s area with workshops and events including designing your own chocolate bar. The iconic Great Glass Elevator will also be making an appearance as will Charlie & Willy Wonka who will both be performing on the gala opening evening.

Visitors will also be able to take a break from all the indulgence in the Healthy Chocolate Area exploring the latest trend for chocolate that is also good for you. Exhibitors Sweet Virtues and friends will be showcasing just how well chocolate can fit into a balanced diet.

Live demonstrations of patisserie and chocolate recipes will continue to enthrall visitors, with a line up filled with your favourite celebrity patisserie chefs such as Will Torrent, Paul A Young, GBBO winner Edd Kimber and restaurateurs Chris & Jeff Galvin will be showcasing culinary masterpieces live on stage for your entertainment.

And finally, The Great British Spiced Chocolate Challenge (GBSCC) is set to truly spice up Olympia, with the final round of the challenge being judged live at the show. Over 100 professional and amateur chocolatier entrants will have each created a new spiced chocolate sensation, using spices from British artisan spice company Seasoned Pioneers. The winning product will be fast-tracked into a top London food hall in time for Christmas 2015!

The Chocolate Show is the grand finale of Chocolate Week (12-18 October). 15,000 will be flocking to West London to enjoy indulgent chocolate treats, live celebrity demonstrations, get hands-on in workshops and discover bean to bar chocolate at the UK’s largest celebration of our favourite sweet treat.
