Following its success in 2013, The Alzheimer’s Show will be held this year at the larger venue, Olympia London on the 16th and 17th May 2014. It is held in association with the Alzheimer’s Society and will precede the society’s Dementia Awareness Week, which starts on Sunday 18th May.
The Alzheimer’s Show is the UK’s only event dedicated to families living with dementia and to the community of carers and professionals who live and work with dementia on a daily basis. The objective of The Alzheimer’s Show is to provide people with direct access to the experts, information, advice and the best products and services available to help those living with or caring for a person with dementia.
It is sponsored and supported by many of the organisations that are leading the way to enhanced care for dementia including SweetTree Home Care Services, Care UK and Red & Yellow Care and supported by the Alzheimer’s Society, Alzheimer’s Research UK, Dementia UK and Admiral Nurses.
Through out the event, these organisations and many others will be making presentations detailing the latest research and care developments. There will be experts on hand to answer questions and to point visitors in the direction of the best local and national services set up to help those living with dementia.
Day tickets are now available from £10 in advance* and £16 on the door.
Once inside The Alzheimer’s Show all features, presentations and workshops are free of charge.
