Europe’s largest overseas property exhibition, A Place in the Sun Live returns to Olympia London between 11th- 13th May. Launched in 2005, the event is a very successful extension of one of the nation’s must-loved TV shows, synonymous with overseas property.
The three-day event returns to the capital to inspire, inform and assist those wanting to buy a property abroad pre and post Brexit; offering helpful seminars, Q&A’s and showcasing the latest properties for sale.
With estate agents from Spain, France, Portugal, Florida, Italy and Turkey to name a few, visitors to the show have a unique opportunity to meet a range of international property experts. In addition, other professional services are on hand providing expert advice on topics including currency, tax, finance and legal firms - all under one roof.
In addition, fans of the TV show will be able to enjoy unmissable ‘meet and greet’ opportunities with current and past presenters including Jasmine Harman, Jonnie Irwin, Amanda Lamb and Laura Hamilton, and audition for a future episode to appear on Channel 4.
A Place in the Sun Live is accordingly positioned to aid the British public as the nation leads the investments in overseas properties:
“Figures released by the Spanish Land Registry show British buyers accounted for more Spanish overseas property sales in 2017 than any other nationality”, says Andy Bridge, Managing Director of APITS Ltd, the event organisers. “Clearly there are questions to resolve around Brexit, but owning a home in sunnier climes remains a goal for many.”.
