Olympia London has achieved Superbrands status for the third year running, and has topped the ‘Conference & Event Venues’ category for the first time. This is a landmark moment for the historic home of inspirational events, following the announcement of the £1bn investment to enhance and develop the site into a world-leading cultural district.
This year marks the 20th anniversary of Superbrands, which is the definitive benchmark for brands who have set the agenda, outwitted the competition and built enviable reputations. Olympia London was given classification following an extensive and robust research process, combining insights from the Superbrands Council and votes from the British public across quality, reliability and distinction.
Only the most highly regarded brands achieve Superbrands status. Furthermore, Olympia London has been identified as a leader in its field by achieving first place in the ‘Conference & Event Venues’ category – proving that, after 133 years, exhibitions and events continue to be the beating heart of Olympia London.
Part of the reason Olympia London has been selected is that, while the much-loved Grade II listed venue is evolving for the future with the £1bn investment, it is continuing to preserve its important heritage. This story is perfectly in line with the Superbrands ethos, and is captured in a two-page feature in this year’s Superbrands’ Annual.
