Last year, iconic English rock band, The Stone Roses, sent fans into a tizzy by announcing a small come-back tour. Rather than send out a standard press release to share the details—fans were told to keep an eye out for posters around their city; if the posters turned up, so too would The Stone Roses. Whilst their reunion tour would have garnered a good amount of coverage anyway, this stunt excelled it to a whole new level.
Olympia London is pleased to announce that their Conference Centre has been awarded Best Venue under 8000m2 at the recent Exhibition News Awards.
Commercial Director at Olympia London, Anna Golden said, “We found that there was a perception within the industry that Olympia London was a venue better suited to larger events and, as a result, it was decided that 2015 was the year to shine the spotlight on the purpose-built Conference Centre. To see the hard work of the team be recognised in this way is very special and truly well-deserved.”

Event industry sleepover, Network under the stars, has today announced its inspiring key note speakers and seminar sessions, as well as the first round of mentors who will be available for exclusive 1-on-1 sessions with attendees on the night.
The event, which is in its second year, is being organised by London Book and Screen Week, International Confex, Olympia London, Ways and Means Events, Freemans and LiveBuzz and will be taking place on Thursday 7th July.
