Aimed at shedding light on the developments and achievements in recent African healthcare projects, more than 300 visitors attended the Africa Healthcare Summit that was held at Olympia London Conference Centre. It was the only event of its kind to allow government ministers, senior hospital directors and healthcare professionals to network with international experts, investors and solution provider in a contained and purpose-built conference space.
Oliver Kinross, the show's organisers, had always held this prominent event in city hotels but chose Olympia London for its large open space and flexibility to make the venue their own.
Kaltrina Kastrati, head of marketing for the Africa Healthcare Summit said:
" With more and more delegates attending the event each year, we needed a venue that had room for us to expand and allowed us to create a truly fluid conference experience. We required exhibition space alongside dedicated conference facilities and Olympia London catered to this perfectly."
With its multiple spaces and break-out rooms, Olympia London was able to meet all of the organiser's requirements; from a partitioned exhibition area to various catering outlets and an accessible registration desk. Tom Knight, head of operations for the event said:
"Olympia London was wonderfully equipped and was the perfect choice for our event. The staff were extremely helpful and accommodating and were on hand every step of the way; they went above and beyond. We would highly recommend Olympia London Conference Centre and are already discussing future options for holding more events at the venue."
