Legend Exhibitions chose Olympia West to launch this brand new show. With its contemporary and minimalist features the venue was the ideal blank canvas to host innovative content showcasing the latest in retail design.

Co-located with the established Retail Business Technology Expo (RBTE) in the connecting space of Olympia Grand, the inaugural event was hailed an outstanding success. A total of 12,043 visitors attended including senior decision makers at Giorgio Armani, John Lewis and Arcadia Group. 

Extra space had to be found in a short time frame to accommodate even greater than anticipated interest from retailers and designers wanting to exhibit. Olympia London’s commercial team therefore worked flexibly to facillitate growth beyond Olympia West onto Olympia Grand's galleries. What’s more, the show will double in size in 2016 by taking up more space at Olympia Central in addition to Olympia West, a phenomenal result for a launch event. Olympia London again has worked collaboratively with Legend to achieve this.

“We were thrilled with Retail Design Expo’s launch year at Olympia London,” says event director Annie Swift. “Many of our visitors were amazed it was a launch event as the show looked so good in Olympia West and the atmosphere was buzzing. There has already been a great rebook from exhibitors and this means we will double in size for next year. Olympia London has been very helpful in working to accommodate this growth.”
