Olympia London is working closely with event organisers and the wider industry in a combined effort to prepare for when we throw open our doors again to welcome visitors back.
Together with our national event associations such as the AEV, AEO, ESSA and international bodies such as UFI, we’re proactively planning how to bring people together again at organised events. We’re constantly reviewing government guidance and taking actions to ensure that when events are reactivated they will be delivered with confidence and everyone can fully enjoy their experience.
Meanwhile, the home of inspirational events has been busy supporting a string of initiatives to look after our community and those most vulnerable in society:
• Olympia Motorail Car Park on Maclise Road is being used as a Coronavirus testing unit for key workers.
• Hammersmith & Fulham Foodbank is running its operations from the Olympia National delivering food to those in need.
• Pear Drops Emergency Food Delivery, which distributes fresh meals to the homeless and the elderly, are using our refrigeration facilities for food storage.
• Olympia Way is being used as a car park for Emergency Services personnel drafted in from outside London as and when needed.
