Launceston Place, the hidden gem of the D&D restaurant group, is a charming neighbourhood favourite with award winning food and wine.
Tucked away on a quaint residential street in Kensington only a five minute walk from Gloucester Road, expect to find great British produce and sensational dishes created by head chef Tim Allen who comes from two Michelin-starred Whatley Manor. Head sommelier Agustin Trapero has created a fabulous wine list full of Old World classics and New World favourites – from accessible wines by the glass and half bottles to a wonderful selection of fine wines.
Launceston Place has its own unique version of a chef's table – the ‘Chef's Office’. Guests dine in their own private dining room adjoined to the kitchen and are linked up via a live plasma screen. Diners get an insight into the buzz and adrenalin of one of London's most talked-about kitchens. We will create a bespoke menu especially for your party based on the day’s market produce. Our experienced sommelier will also be on hand to recommend wines to complement each course.
