Olympia London treat the health, safety and wellbeing of everyone as top priority in this difficult time. We’ve been reacting to Government guidance to help reduce the spread of Coronavirus, and we’re working closely with our event organiser partners as they plan the impact on their individual events. A number of upcoming events have been postponed or cancelled.

Houses of Parliament

The Houses of Parliament overlooking the Thames by Westminster Bridge, can be reached from Olympia London by tube within 20 minutes. It is a remarkable and iconic landmark, and a very popular attraction to those visiting London.

The Houses of Parliament allows its visitors to explore the Commons and Lords chambers, as well as attend debates and watch committee hearings. A guided tour lasts an hour and a half, and highlights include exploring the Royal Gallery, the Grand Committee Room, the Prince's Chamber, and Westminster Hall, to name a few.

Not only can you enjoy a guided tour, the Houses of Parliament also offers its visitors the chance to have afternoon tea in the Terrace Pavilion, which can accommodates 70 people per sitting. If you prefer, there is also the option to enjoy refreshments at the Jubilee Cafe, which offers sandwiches, English tea, coffee and cake.

The Houses of Parliament provide an insight into British history and politics, and is a fascinating and very memorable way to spend an afternoon in the city.
