Richmond Park is the largest of London’s eight Royal Parks, with over 2500 acres of land, and home to 650 deer; it is the ideal destination for those looking to relax and unwind.
Featuring woodland ponds, with a lake running through the park, beautiful flower gardens, such as the Isabella Plantation, and a playground, Richmond Park has something to offer everyone.
The Isabella Plantation is an ornamental woodland garden, home to 15 known varieties of deciduous azalea, and 120 hybrids. It is an idyllic location, and you will feel as if you're in a completely different part of the country.
There are six car parks within Richmond Park, with a disabled badge only car park near the Isabella Plantation. Getting to the park by public transport from Olympia is very simple on the tube, and takes around 15 minutes.
