Olympia London treat the health, safety and wellbeing of everyone as top priority in this difficult time. We’ve been reacting to Government guidance to help reduce the spread of Coronavirus, and we’re working closely with our event organiser partners as they plan the impact on their individual events. A number of upcoming events have been postponed or cancelled.

Tate Britain is an art museum on Millbank near to Olympia London

Tate Britain

Situated on Millbank, a short distance away from Olympia London, the Tate Britain holds the National Collection of British art from 1500 to the present day. With exhibitions and events taking place daily, the Tate Britain has a range of activities that appeal to everyone.

The Tate Britain hosts the most comprehensive collection of its kind in the world; amongst the pieces on display are works by Gainsborough, Hogath, Constable and Blake. It is free of charge and offers guided tours, giving you the chance to ‘Meet 500 years of British Art.’ Free guided tours take place four times a day and last 45 minutes.

Welcoming families and those of all ages the Tate Britain encourages exploration and the understanding of art, it is an experience that all can appreciate and relish in. Offering an exciting and memorable eating experience; originally opening in 1927, the Rex Whistler Restaurant hosts one of the finest wine cellars in London. If that doesn’t sound appealing, there is also a café serving a wide range of hot and cold dishes, including British salads and sandwiches, all made fresh and served in an open kitchen.

The Tate Britain can be reached easily by tube or bus from Olympia London, and offers a historical and cultural experience that cannot be missed for those visiting the capital.
