Olympia London Parking Pre-Booking Terms & Conditions
These terms and conditions govern the sale and purchase of car parking tickets at Olympia London, Hammersmith Road, London, W14 8UX by Olympia Limited from our website at www.olympia.london. Please read these terms and conditions carefully before purchasing any tickets as they contain important information and they specify those matters for which we do not accept responsibility. By placing an order for tickets from our website you will be deemed to have accepted these terms and conditions.
In these Pre-Booking Terms and Conditions:
(a) “Amendments” include changes to vehicle registrations, personal details, reduction or addition in the number of days booked, Vehicle types or selected Car Park.
(b) “Car Park”, “Car Parks” means any parking facility managed and/or operated by us provided for the parking of Vehicles;
(c) “Car Park Terms and Conditions” means the general car park Terms and Conditions which form part of these Pre-Booking Terms and Conditions and are displayed at the Car Park and are accessible at www.olympia.co.uk under the ‘parking’ section of the web site.
(d) “Pre-Booking Terms and Conditions” means these terms and conditions including the Car Park Terms and Conditions;
(e) “Pre Booked Ticket” means the car parking ticket which is issued to you, once your Vehicle has been recognised as a pre booked Vehicle. A Pre Booked Ticket has the words “Pre Booked” printed on it.
(f) “Representative” means any of our officers, agents and employees acting in the course of business and within the scope of their duties towards us;
(g) “us”, “we” and “our” means Olympia Limited of Hammersmith Road, London, W14 8UX (Registered company number; 661157)
(h) “Vehicle” means any vehicle which enters into the Car Park and includes any mechanical device on wheels or tracks, its equipment, accessories and everything that may be left in or on it;
(i) “Website” means www.olympia.co.uk and all other URL’s operated by us;
(j) “you”, “your” and “customer” means a person who shall have entered into a contract for the parking of a Vehicle at the Car Parks. All customers entering into a contract with us for the parking of a Vehicle at the Car Park, whether by purchasing a ticket or otherwise, will be considered to do so on behalf of themselves and all other persons with whom they hold themselves out as representing;
2. Purchase of Pre Booked Tickets
By purchasing a Pre Booked Ticket, you enter into a contract with us that is governed by these Pre Booking Terms and Conditions.
Pre Booked Tickets can be purchased on-line from our Website. Pre Booked Tickets can be ordered from our Website before 22.00 on the day before the first parking date. Same day Car Park pre bookings are not available.
Pre Booked Ticket prices will be as displayed on the Website at the time you make your order. All prices will be in pounds sterling and inclusive of VAT. A booking fee of £1.50 will be charged for each order to cover administration costs.
Pre booked Ticket orders will be deemed to have been accepted by us on receipt by you of your pre-booking reference number. If you make a booking using our Website, your reference number will be sent to the email address that you have provided.
You will be asked to provide payment by credit or debit card prior to receiving your reference number. We may refuse or cancel your order if your card payment is rejected.
The Car Park Terms and Conditions relating to the use of the Car Park are displayed at each of our Car Parks and can be accessed on our Website under the ‘Parking’ section. The Car Park Terms and Conditions should be read carefully as they form part of these Pre-Booking Terms and Conditions.
3. Conditions of use
(i) Pre Booked Tickets will be valid for a specified Vehicle, identified by the Vehicle registration number that you submit at the time of booking, the designated Car Park, selected date(s) and prices specified at the time of booking. Please note that you must be aware of the correct Car Park for which you have booked, prior to entering. Our Representatives cannot be responsible for advising you which Car Park has been booked on the day of parking and therefore we will accept no responsibility for any additional charges incurred as a result of parking in the wrong Car Park.
(ii) When you enter and exit the Car Park, it is imperative that you follow the instructions you have been issued with in your email. Please be aware that our Car Parks use a number plate recognition system.
(iii) The Car Park entry barrier system, will read your Vehicle registration number plate and if it is recognised as a pre-booked Vehicle, you will be issued a Pre Booked Ticket. Please ensure that you DO NOT LOSE THIS TICKET as it will be required for exit at the Car Park exit barrier. Lost Tickets will be charged at the standard 10-24 hour daily rate as advertised at the Car Park entrance which must be paid before leaving the Car Park.
(iv) If the Car Park entry barrier system fails to recognise your Vehicle as a pre booked Vehicle, you will be issued a standard parking ticket without the wording “Pre Booked” printed on it. Please take this ticket, along with your pre booking details, to the cashier station prior to exit. If your Vehicle is found to be a valid pre booked Vehicle, you will be issued an exit ticket. If your Vehicle is not found to be a valid pre booked Vehicle, you will be charged at the standard 10-24 hour daily rate as advertised at the Car Park entrance and you must pay this before leaving the Car Park.
(v) If your Vehicle is not consistent with the number plate for which you have booked, you may be refused entry to the Car Park. A pre booking is valid only for a specified Vehicle and is not transferable to another Vehicle on the day of parking. Any Amendments must be made in advance in line with section 4 of these Pre-Booking Terms and Conditions.
(vi) In the event that you do gain entry to the Car Park and your pre booking is not valid, YOU WILL BE CHARGED at the standard 10-24 hour daily rate as advertised at the Car Park entrance which must be made before leaving the Car Park. No refund will be available for invalid Car Park pre bookings or any additional charges that are incurred.
(vii) A Pre Booked Ticket date is valid from 07.00hrs until the Car Park closing time which is advertised at the entrance to the Car Park. If you leave your Vehicle in the Car Park after closing time you will not have access to it until the Car Park opens again at 07.00 the following day. You will be charged the standard hourly tariff, as advertised at the Car Park entrance from 07.00am the following day until the time of exit which must be paid before leaving the Car Park. Additional payments should be made at either the Cashier Station or pay on foot machines, using your Pre Booked Ticket prior to exit
4. Booking Amendments and Cancellation
Should you wish to cancel or make Amendments to your pre booking or part of it you may do so via our Website.
(i) Amendments made on our Website can be made before 18.00 on the day before your first parking date. You cannot make amendments after this time. Amendments to personal details and Vehicle registration numbers can be made without incurring any amendment fees. Amendments to the selected Car Park, Vehicle type and booking dates are subject to a £2.00 amendment fee and will be subject to Car Park availability.
ii) Amendment fees and fees for additional dates booked will charged to the same credit card, with which the original booking was made, at the time of Amendment. A reduction in the number of days will result in the difference in cost being refunded back on to the credit card with which the booking was made, minus a £2 amendment fee.
(iii) Cancellations on our Website can be made before 18.00 on the day before your first parking date. Cancellations are subject to a £5.00 cancellation fee.
(iv) No retrospective refunds will be made after the Car Park entry time and date of your booking (as detailed on your booking confirmation) if you have not followed the cancellation and/or changes to the booking procedures set out in these Pre-Booking Terms and Conditions.
(v) No refunds will be made other than as expressly provided for in these Pre-Booking Terms and Conditions.
(vi) We may cancel your Car Park pre booking at any time. If we cancel your Car Park pre booking for any reason within our direct control and not due to an event beyond our control then we will refund the amount we have received back on to the credit card with which the payment was made and shall have no further liability to you. We will endeavour to give you at least 48 hours’ notice of any such cancellation. However, if the Car Park has to be closed in an emergency situation, it may not be possible to give notice of cancellation of your Car Park pre booking.
(vii) If your designated Car Park is not available for any reason we will make reasonable efforts to provide you with alternative parking facilities at a reasonably convenient location. You will not be entitled to a refund of the ticket price if such alternative parking space is available.
(ix) All refunds will be made directly by credit to the card on which the original payment was made.
5. Variation of the Terms and Conditions
These Pre-Booking Terms and Conditions constitute the whole agreement between us and you. However, we reserve the right to amend these Pre-Booking Terms and Conditions at any time. Nothing said or done by any of our Representatives is capable of varying these Pre-Booking Terms and Conditions.
(i) These Pre-Booking Terms and Conditions are governed by and shall be construed in accordance with English Law and any claims arising under them are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts.
(ii) Nothing in these Pre- Booking Terms and Conditions shall take away or modify your statutory rights and entitlements.
(iii) If any provisions of these Pre-Booking Terms and Conditions (or any part of them) is found by any court or other authority of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, illegal or unenforceable, that provision shall to the extent required, be deemed not to form part of these Pre-Booking Terms and Conditions and the validity and enforceability of the other provisions shall not be affected.
(iv) We shall store, process and use all information regarding your personal details in accordance with the requirements of the Data Protection Act 1998.
(v) We may monitor and record telephone calls and electronic communications for quality assurance and training purposes.
