Olympia Charitable Trust

The Olympia Charitable Trust has awarded over £30,000 in grants to support five organizations and their impactful projects in 2024. Recipients include St Barnabas Church, The Good Shepherd Primary School, and The Nucleo Project Charity

These grants have funded initiatives such as IT equipment for students, the creation of a sensory room for children with disabilities, and music equipment and lessons for children from low-income households. These projects are set to benefit hundreds of residents in the boroughs of Hammersmith & Fulham and Kensington & Chelsea, creating meaningful and lasting positive change.

H&F Giving

CHARITABLE PARTNER

H&F Giving are the go-to organisation for anyone who wants to understand local needs and work together to enrich the lives of Hammersmith & Fulham residents. Through their extensive networks in public, private and charity sectors they match resources with causes and make partnership connections so that all local people and every generation have what they need to thrive.

Through grants programmes, local appeals, and creative projects, they find positive ways to recognise and support people who work for those in need in the borough.

We are pleased to be one of the proud sponsors for H&F’s Big Christmas Day Lunch 2024 for the second time.

The event will host up to 500 elderly people who live in the borough on Christmas day, providing a free two-course Christmas meal, gift and a day of festive cheer including entertainment from a live band. Olympia has also contributed to the charity’s Digital Fund which will be allocated to community organisations and charities to support digital inclusion projects.

2024 PROJECTS AND IMPACT

  • We provided approximately 2,000 complimentary tickets to local residents, including those from Hammersmith & Fulham. We also offered residents exclusive discounts and ticket deals for 14 exciting shows at Olympia. These included popular events like London Comic Con Spring, Destinations: The Holiday & Travel Show, Laithwaites Wine Festival, and Ceramic Art London, giving the community access to a vibrant lineup of entertainment and cultural experiences.

  • We supported fundraising efforts by donating prizes for raffles, sponsoring school fairs, and encouraging staff volunteering. This year, we collaborated with five schools, including Avonmore, Normand Croft, and St Mary’s Primary. Our staff, along with service partners, volunteered at St Mary’s to transform their outdoor space and playground, providing improvements that saved the school over £10,000.

  • We are collaborating from the beginning of 2025 with Earnt to amplify positive social impact. Through this partnership, volunteers will support local causes, including initiatives with Olympia's charitable partners such as schools. To recognise their contributions, volunteers will gain access to exclusive offers and experiences as a reward for their dedication.
